- Forty minutes of hockey is not good enough. I thought we were flat in the first period and we can’t afford to give a two-goal lead to such a good hockey team. We played a very good second period overall and decently enough in the third period but to beat a team that has speed and size, we need to play with a lot more edge and play smarter. Bolzano was very opportunistic last night and their key guys were good. The task is still feasible, plenty of teams have come back from a two-game deficit in hockey history. We just need to come with more excitement and more jam from the start of the game and we’ll have a chance to win – summarized head coach Marty Raymond.
The Hungarians are back on the bus on Monday to travel to Bolzano for the series’ third game in South-Tyrol on Tuesday night.
